Harley Davidson Sturgis 1993 rally tee in washed black cotton, size large, built on a Hanes Beefy-T blank made in
the USA and printed by R.K. Stratman Inc, Harley's official licensee since 1983.
Hanes Beefy-T tags date 1989 to 1997, so the blank is period correct, and the neck carries both the Hanes label and the Harley Motor Clothes label.
Sturgis is the biggest motorcycle rally in the world, held in the Black Hills every August since 1938, with 150,000
riders there in 1993.
The signature is Willie G Davidson, Harley's chief styling officer.
Front has a small pocket print, the back the same large, HARLEY DAVIDSON over a turquoise panel with a silver eagle feather on a beaded quill, STURGIS 1993 beneath and the Willie signature.
The feather and lettering are metallic silver, now heavily crackled, on black washed to a mottled charcoal.
